The Envirometer
A multifaceted tool

The Envirometer is an online calculator that generates a quick and simple overview of your organisation’s environmental impact and carbon footprint.

Once you’ve filled in your environmental data, the program translates these into colourful graphs and a carbon footprint. This gives you an instant overview of the most important issues that contribute to your organisation’s environmental impact. The charts allow you to prioritise policies to curb CO2 emissions and other environmental impacts.

The Envirometer also provides you with an overview of your environmental costs and efficiency indicators. You can switch between Dutch and English at any time.

If your organisation works from multiple locations, you may want to expand your subscription to include several Envirometers. You can then compare the results per location and use the sum feature to calculate a company total.

The Envirometer offers:

  • A baseline of your environmental performance and comparison with industry averages
  • A carbon footprint
  • Environmental issues like soot, smog and ozone depletion (unique)
  • An option to publish your carbon footprint
  • An environmental registration for popular certificates
  • Lots of flexibility in generating data forms and reports
  • A list with the most common/interesting environmental measures in your industry sector.
  • Service: online-help and a personal helpdesk.

Costs

  • The Envirometer starter package costs €198.00 (price level 2019, excl. VAT). This initial license is valid until the end of the next calendar year.
  • An extension of the main licence costs €70.00 (price level 2019, excl. VAT) for each Envirometer, valid for the same period as the main licence. (2019: €70)
  • At the end of each calendar year, the licence will be renewed for an annual fee of €70.00 (price level 2019 excl. VAT) for each Envirometer, until notice of cancellation.

Your local municipality or industry organisation may be one of the more than sixty parties that offer a free (abdridged) starter version.
