What can you expect during the course?

A variety of topics will be covered so you can confidently work with the tool on your own:

• Analyzing and monitoring results: environment, CO₂ (scope 1 and 2), energy, and waste
• Including CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) indicators
• Setting goals
• Working with the ‘measures module’
• Using Environmental Barometer results in reports
• Engaging colleagues in sustainability
• Learning from the experience of other Environmental Barometer users
• Plenty of additional tips and tricks!

During the course, you will complete practical exercises on data analysis, goal setting, and identifying measures. These will be discussed with the group.

For whom is the basic course for?

The basic course is for users who want to learn more about analysis, monitoring, goal setting, and communication. It’s important that you’ve already entered as much data as possible into your Environmental Barometer account. This will help you get the most out of the course.

Course dates

Basic courses are offered regularly. You can sign up for one that suits you.
The in-person course in Rotterdam has a maximum of 12 participants; the online course is limited to 15 participants.

Practical Information

For the online course, you will receive an invitation to a Microsoft Teams meeting.

The in-person courses are held at our office in Rotterdam (Botersloot 177). After the session, we’ll have lunch together with the advisors from Stimular.

The course fee is €245 per participant (VAT exempt), including lunch where applicable. Each registration is valid for one person.

Preparation

Before the course, it’s important to gather your company’s environmental data and fill in as much information as possible in the Environmental Barometer. This helps you become familiar with the tool and ensures you get the most out of the course.

You can use the data entry course to assist with this step, although it’s not mandatory. The online help guide contains several tutorial videos to support you in entering the data. You should plan for about 1 to 2 hours of preparation before the course.
