• Correction to the CO₂ factor for international train travel: 0.12 kg CO₂/km => 0.24 kg CO₂/km (for 2026 and onwards). As with domestic train travel, calculations for international train travel from 2026 onwards will be based on “grey” (non-renewable) electricity.

• New addition to the key metrics under “Total and Thematic CO₂ Footprint”: CO₂ emissions from transport (excluding visitors).
• For companies that enter natural gas consumption in kWh, MWh, or BTU (instead of m³): a correction has been applied to the conversion factor from kWh/MWh/BTU to m³. Previously, the calculation was based on the Higher Heating Value (HHV) rather than the Lower Heating Value (LHV) of natural gas, which resulted in an underestimation when converting kWh/MWh/BTU to m³. Consequently, the calculated CO₂ footprint is now slightly higher. This change applies to all years.

Footprints updated

• “Footprints” are now collapsible:
  • Use the buttons to collapse or expand an entire footprint.
  • You can also collapse or expand individual scopes, themes, or categories.
  • When copying a footprint (using the copy button above the table), it will be copied exactly as it appears on your screen.
• The layout of the footprints has been improved in other areas as well.
• GHG footprints now include a summary of CO₂ tonnage (scopes 1, 2, and 3) at the top of the chart.
• The “share footprint” function has been relocated.
  • You can now see whether a footprint has been shared by looking at the top-right corner of the footprint. Behind that, you will find ‘sharing options’.
  • This button takes you to the bottom of the footprint, where you can share (or unshare) it.
