• On February 16, the annual CO₂ factors update for 2026 was performed, in line with CO₂‑emissionfactors.nl. A few factors have also been changed for previous years:
• Wastewater (2024, 2025)
• Emissions of Solvents (all years), R290 (2025), and R600 (2025).
  Note: For an analysis of footprints for 2025 compared to previous years, the changes in the “Annual CO₂ factors update 2025”: P5900 are particularly important.

Note: If you published a *location-based CO₂ footprint for 2025 before February 11, it was calculated using the location-based factors for 2024. The location-based factors for 2025 have now been updated.

January 2026

• Added key figure: Percentage of residual waste (compared to total waste). Unsorted construction and demolition waste is not included as ‘unsorted’ in this figure.
